THE Dress

So, here it is… the dress I get asked about EVERY TIME I wear it! I saw it originally on another website, but I could tell it was one of those scam sites, so scrounged Amazon and its various listings, looking through countless reviews to find the match. 

Now… I have every color I could get my hands on over the years: apricot/beige, white, red, black, royal blue and plum. The black I can wear with no bra, so I have two and it's my constant go-to in the summer; the others I can wear with pasties or a strapless bra.

I can only swear by the May&Maya dresses — any other brand, you're risking it not being the same fabric, cut, etc.

Good Smellin' Bugs-Be-Gone Stuff

I was at a family reunion out in Lampasas when, at dusk, as we all gathered for dinner and to roast marshmallows around a campfire. I kept getting a whiff of something so distinct and good, and finally, while wandering around the perimeter, I realized it was these mosquito sticks that someone had stuck in the ground and lit all around us. I asked everyone and finally stumbled on our benevolent stick lighter who turned over the packaging so I could track down my own.
