Skip the Trash Cans!

If you entertain, but loathe having to store giant, gross trashcans that only get occasional use — skip 'em! We used these at our Rockport and lakehouse for years and I loved their ease of use and once we were done with 'em, they store sooo much easier than clumsy, dirty trashcans!

Good Smellin' Bugs-Be-Gone Stuff

I was at a family reunion out in Lampasas when, at dusk, as we all gathered for dinner and to roast marshmallows around a campfire. I kept getting a whiff of something so distinct and good, and finally, while wandering around the perimeter, I realized it was these mosquito sticks that someone had stuck in the ground and lit all around us. I asked everyone and finally stumbled on our benevolent stick lighter who turned over the packaging so I could track down my own. These have a distinct scent that is soooo much better than typical mosquito products, which is why they're a staple in the summer adventure box that goes everywhere with me from May-October!
