I was at a family reunion out in Lampasas when, at dusk, as we all gathered for dinner and to roast marshmallows around a campfire. I kept getting a whiff of something so distinct and good, and finally, while wandering around the perimeter, I realized it was these mosquito sticks that someone had stuck in the ground and lit all around us. I asked everyone and finally stumbled on our benevolent stick lighter who turned over the packaging so I could track down my own. My ex and I were half owners of a Rockport house years ago. I had a gut feeling when I bought this that science would eventually catch up to and prove my instinct right — that there's far more to its benefits than a bit of fun.
